As a Neuroscience Account Manager for the Brooklyn South territory, you will lead the promotion of our psychiatry portfolio to psychiatrists and institutional accounts, including community mental health centers and hospitals. This role is designed for a results-driven professional who thrives in a rapidly changing environment and is adept at executing against tough commercialization challenges.
You will execute sales and marketing strategies using comprehensive clinical knowledge to drive sales performance. Your day-to-day involves building and maintaining productive internal and external relationships, utilizing digital tools and data-based insights to create opportunities and develop strategy. You will gather and validate key market trends, map account linkages, and apply therapeutic knowledge to uncover unique opportunities. Additionally, you will stay informed on reimbursement dynamics to effectively address payer access issues.
The primary target city for this territory is Brooklyn, NY. We will consider candidates who live within 40 miles of the territory boundaries, which include Prospect Heights, Coney Island, Bay Ridge, and Flatbush. Candidates must have access to a major airport. Driving is an essential duty of this job, and a valid driver's license in good standing is required. The role involves travel up to 30%–40% domestically to regularly meet with the customer base and internal personnel, as well as attending 4–8 internal and external conferences and meetings.

Prior experience promoting and detailing products specific to CNS/neuroscience including depression, schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. Documented successful sales performance. Ownership and accountability for the development and execution of fully integrated account plans. Strong analytical background, and experience using sales data reporting tools to identify trends. Experience in calling on customers at a variety of call points, including offices, community mental health centers and hospitals. Sales experience with buy & bill/injectable products. Experience in product launches. Previous experience working with alliance partners (i.e., co-promotions). Strong leadership through participation in committees, job rotations, panels and related activities.
