We offer three distinct subspecialty tracks designed to provide balanced training experiences that integrate structured didactics, scholarly activities, and clinical excellence. Our program places a special emphasis on career development and subspecialty board preparation, ensuring fellows can thrive professionally while enjoying a high quality of life in Pittsburgh.
This ACGME-accredited neuromuscular fellowship offers a focused opportunity in the management and research of multiple sclerosis.
This track provides a unique balance of clinical and scholarly work. An optional second research year is available for interested applicants seeking to deepen their investigative skills.
Beginning July 2026, this fellowship offers specialized training at the interface between neurological disorders and women's health across the lifespan. It is designed to follow directly after neurology residency or before or after fellowship training in any neurological subspecialty. Fellows will train alongside top experts, including Division Chief Dr. Eliza Miller, Chair of Neurology Dr. Page Pennell, and Fellowship Director Dr. Angela O'Neal. The program leverages an integrated multidisciplinary practice setting at Magee-Womens Hospital, where over 10,000 deliveries occur annually.
