We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Neurologist to join our small, close-knit community hospital. This position offers an excellent opportunity for both experienced neurologists and new graduates to establish a rewarding practice in the beautiful rural setting of Vermont.
You will work in an established neurology practice characterized by a small atmosphere and personalized patient care. The role involves an outpatient clinic schedule with inpatient consultations, handling a patient volume of 14-16+ patients per day. You will manage a diverse range of conditions including seizures, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, dementia, tremors, stroke, headaches, and various pain syndromes. The position includes performing EEG interpretation, IVIG administration, biopsies, nerve conduction studies, and EMG, with no operating room time required.
You will be supported by dedicated staff, including a secretary, RN, and administrative support, ensuring a collaborative environment across departments. A key feature of this role is the work-life balance it offers; there is no call requirement, allowing you to enjoy an outpatient schedule and explore the natural beauty and serenity of rural living.
