We are seeking an experienced Network Management Systems (NMS) Engineer to oversee the operations of our production NMS tools suite. This role is critical for ensuring the safety of our nation by maintaining the integrity and performance of the infrastructure that supports our customers' missions. As a Tier 3 NMS Operations Engineer, you will be the expert responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing our production Linux-based NMS infrastructure. This is not just a maintenance role; it is a position where you will collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to identify areas for process improvement and automation. You will analyze system performance data to drive optimization, manage system updates and security configurations, and mentor junior team members. Your work ensures high availability, reliability, and scalability for the NMS, directly supporting the critical operations of our defense and intelligence customers.
This position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately. However, it is representative of positions within CACI that are consistently available. Relevant certifications (e.g., RHCE, ITIL). Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar. Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, collectd, Grafana, InfluxDB. Knowledge of log management and analysis tools (e.g., Elastic). Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Technical field or equivalent work experience.
