This position is critical to maintaining the security and reliability of our organizational network infrastructure. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing complex software and hardware inquiries while collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, optimize, and ensure the scalability of our systems. The role involves managing ongoing upgrades, security improvements, and the lifecycle of network assets, including routers, switches, and security appliances.
You will work within a high-stakes environment where resilience is paramount. Your day-to-day will include monitoring network performance, analyzing traffic, and implementing robust security protocols to prevent unauthorized access and malware. As a key contributor to engineering meetings, you will provide technical feedback to support the planning and execution of network projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to objectives.
This is an on-site role with no remote options available. New hire start dates occur on the 1st and 16th of each month.
A critical condition of employment is the ability to maintain a Top Secret (TS) clearance and a willingness to undergo a CI polygraph examination. Successful candidates must attain all necessary read-ins for work. Additionally, a background investigation by the Federal government may be required to obtain access authorization, with subsequent reinvestigations potentially required. Applicants should be aware that reviews and tests for the absence of illegal drugs will be conducted, and all persons hired must verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States.
