Under the general supervision of a Provider, the Medical Assistant – NCT or Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT) serves as a vital link in delivering comprehensive patient care. This role is designed to support clinical operations by managing patient preparation, performing standard x-ray examinations, and ensuring accurate documentation within the electronic medical record system.
The team member will work closely with the imaging supervisor and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless patient experiences. From updating medical records and managing lab specimens to utilizing CR and DR systems for diagnostic imaging, the position requires a balance of technical precision and compassionate patient interaction. The role also encompasses essential back-office duties, including maintaining exam rooms, managing medical supplies, and adhering to strict safety standards regarding radiation exposure and shielding protocols.
