The Artist Partnership team operates both globally and locally, collaborating with artists, managers, and labels to unleash the promotional and marketing power of the platform. Our mission is to help artists secure success across TikTok, music streaming services, hit charts, and brand collaborations.
You will join a dynamic team dedicated to discovering music worth promoting and managing weekly pipelines to match songs with the right promotional resources. This role involves specifying campaign briefs and designing incentive plans to target specific creator segments based on campaign needs. You will also play a key part in product evolution by collecting feedback and generating insights for the music promotion platform and algorithmic strategy iteration. Additionally, you will identify and monitor emerging music and trends, exploring new promotional opportunities to better leverage TikTok's ecosystem and enhance promotion capabilities.
To be considered for this internship, you must have a Bachelor's degree and be available for a minimum of 3 workdays per week. We are looking for individuals with prior internship experience in music, marketing, tech, or entertainment. A deep passion for music and an active, knowledgeable presence as a TikTok user are essential. You should possess logical and critical thinking skills, be a quick learner, and be eager to take on challenges.
While not required, having a major in computer science, marketing, or math is a plus, as is familiarity with mainstream digital streaming platforms like Spotify. We value candidates who can work effectively under pressure, plan and deliver on tight deadlines, and collaborate cross-functionally while managing multiple tasks. A strong data sense, product thinking, and a grounded, responsible approach to work are highly desired. Finally, we are looking for someone who actively discovers music and artists on TikTok and has a distinct point of view on music marketing.
