As a Music Central Assistant, you will launch your career in the dynamic world of music and touring. This role centers on the administrative aspects of booking and music touring, serving as an essential part of the Contemporary Music Team. You will support Music Agents and Assistants with critical tasks, acting as a key contact point for incoming calls, meeting coordination, and seamless team communication.
This position is designed as an immersive 8-week training program to provide the key skills and knowledge needed to understand and work in the world of live music. You will participate in an apprenticeship-style journey tailored for long-term success, gaining valuable insights into a top booking agency. Your contributions will empower the team and set the stage for potential advancement to a Music Agent's Assistant role, with the ultimate goal of propelling your career toward becoming a Music Agent.
While this is a full-time position in booking and music touring, please note that the demands of the role make it challenging to concurrently pursue creative roles within the industry. You will be expected to adapt to fast-paced needs, manage overflow tasks, and contribute to department initiatives, ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly.
