This position serves as a vital bridge between the Bank's mortgage financing capabilities and the broader community. The primary mission is to solicit new business and expand relationships with existing customers by managing complex mortgages involving significant sums of money. You will act as a trusted advisor, developing strong networks with attorneys, developers, real estate brokers, and builders to generate a robust pipeline of residential mortgage loans.
In this role, you will not only process applications but also educate and influence team members and clients to support corporate goals. The day-to-day involves navigating the full lifecycle of a loan—from initial consultation and product recommendation to final documentation and submission. You will be responsible for resolving issues as they arise during the application process, ensuring compliance with Federal Fair Lending Laws, TRID guidelines, and secondary market requirements.
The role demands flexibility and community engagement. You will arrange work schedules to accommodate borrower needs, including evening and weekend appointments, and frequently travel between the main office, branches, and customer locations. Beyond the office, you will represent the Bank at local community and civic organizations, home shows, open houses, and homebuyer seminars to foster a positive image and drive business development.
Candidates selected for this role will be expected to maintain NMLS registration and demonstrate a working knowledge of lending procedures. The position requires a valid driver's license and a good driving record to facilitate daily travel and customer appointments.
The Bank is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background and strive to create an environment where all team members can succeed.
