Lap of Love is dedicated to honoring the profound human-animal bond by providing compassionate end-of-life care directly in the comfort of a pet's home. Our mission is to ensure that every companion animal passes peacefully, surrounded by their family, while offering grief support to the humans who love them most.
As a Mobile Veterinarian, you will serve as the compassionate face of our mission, delivering in-home hospice and euthanasia services to dogs and cats. This role is unique in that it blends high-level clinical expertise with deep emotional intelligence. You will be the guide for families during one of the most difficult moments in their lives, performing quality-of-life assessments and administering dignified, peaceful euthanasia.
Your day will be defined by meaningful interactions rather than a clinic waiting room. You will manage your own daily house-call routes, traveling to homes to provide palliative care plans and pain management protocols. Beyond clinical duties, you will offer essential grief support resources and maintain clear, empathetic communication with families before, during, and after their pet's passing. You will collaborate with a supportive, mission-driven team that values the emotional well-being of both the animal and the owner as much as clinical outcomes.
