Mobile Veterinarian

About the Role

Lap of Love seeks a compassionate Mobile Veterinarian to provide in-home hospice, palliative care, and euthanasia services for dogs and cats. You will travel to families' homes to perform gentle exams, develop comfort-focused care plans, and guide caregivers through end-of-life decisions with empathy and clarity. This role is dedicated to creating meaningful, emotionally supportive experiences for pets and the people who love them.

As a Mobile Veterinarian, you will be the anchor of peace for families during their most difficult moments. Your day involves conducting thorough patient assessments, performing compassionate and peaceful euthanasia, and educating families on quality-of-life options. You will maintain detailed medical records and coordinate closely with primary care veterinarians to ensure continuity of care. Beyond clinical duties, you will safely handle and transport remains in accordance with local regulations while participating in an on-call rotation to manage a mobile schedule.
