Lap of Love is seeking a compassionate Mobile Veterinarian to provide in-home hospice, palliative care, and euthanasia services for pets. This role exists to ensure that companion animals receive dignified, high-quality end-of-life care in the comfort of their own homes, allowing families to say goodbye without the stress of a clinical environment.
As a Mobile Veterinarian, you will work independently in the field, traveling to clients' homes to conduct quality-of-life assessments and develop comfort-focused care plans. Your day will involve performing peaceful, low-stress euthanasias in accordance with medical and ethical standards, while guiding families through difficult decisions with empathy and clarity. Beyond clinical duties, you will document care in EMRs, coordinate follow-up care and grief support resources, and collaborate with a supportive veterinary team to ensure the highest standards of care.
You will embody our culture of empathy, respect, and dignity in every interaction, representing the core values of Lap of Love as you help families navigate the emotional journey of losing a beloved pet.
