This position supports our Mobile Unit, which delivers care directly to patients across Los Angeles County, including schools, community organizations, and shelters. In partnership with these sites, patients are pre-scheduled and the mobile unit travels to provide care focused primarily on preventive services, including vaccinations, physical exams (annual and sports), and some chronic care support.
When not deployed on mobile assignments, the Nurse Practitioner will provide patient care at our Sunland clinic. This role offers a unique mix of community-based outreach and traditional clinic practice, ensuring continuous and comprehensive services to promote optimal health in an underserved community.
We believe in a patient-centered approach where care begins with connection. Every interaction is an opportunity to personalize the experience: we greet patients before they greet us, listen actively, and maintain eye contact. We are committed to explaining the care process clearly and providing updates throughout the visit, ensuring every patient feels heard and understood.
We are committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all applicants, including those with arrest or conviction records. In accordance with the ULAC Fair Chance Ordinance, we will not inquire about or consider criminal history until after a candidate has received a copy of their background check report. All applicants will be evaluated based on their qualifications and ability to perform the essential functions of the job. For more information, please refer to LA County Fair Chance Hiring.
