The Defense Sector of Leidos is seeking a Mission Crew Training Simulator (MCTS) Training Specialist to join our team at Offutt AFB, NE. As part of a major program supporting the Air Combat Command's (ACC) Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) mission, our team is dedicated to building the training scenarios that prepare RC-135 aircrew members for real-world operations.
At Leidos, we outthink, outbuild, and outpace the status quo because the mission demands it. We are not hiring followers; we are recruiting those who disrupt, provoke, and refuse to fail. We challenge our staff with interesting assignments that allow them to thrive professionally and personally, believing that helping you grow your career is good business.
In this role, you will be the architect of the training environment. Your primary objective is to create MCTS-based scenarios for government and military personnel that simulate live target training based on customer-provided Training Task List (TTL) objectives. You will ensure these scenarios are exportable, adaptable, and standardized to support Mission Qualification, Mission Certification, and pre-deployment training.
Your day-to-day involves developing and maintaining MCTS scenarios that evolve with new requirements for non-kinetic operations and modern collection systems. You will also play a critical role in the infrastructure side, assisting with maintaining the training servers needed for execution, addressing Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVMs), Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs), and Plan of Action and Milestones (POAMs). If you are looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity to take your career to the next level, this is your chance to join a team dedicated to a mission.
We invite you to begin your journey of a flourishing and meaningful career by sharing your resume with us today. For U.S. positions, this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date.
