About the Role

This Mid/Sr System Administrator position is critical to maintaining the integrity and efficiency of a large, complex, and geographically distributed network environment. You will serve as a key support pillar for system engineering requests, delivering solutions that meet operational needs while upgrading, sustaining, and maintaining existing capabilities. The role demands an energetic, focused, and driven individual capable of adapting quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

You will navigate a landscape of multiple air-gapped systems, each with its own domain and supporting infrastructure. Your day-to-day will involve managing a complex IT environment with multiple users, storage, and network infrastructure. From installing applications and optimizing server configurations to performing security management and application performance optimization, you will ensure systems run continuously and efficiently. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining documentation for complex server and network environments, ensuring clear information is available for incident resolution, and communicating effectively with users and upper management regarding outages and upgrades.
