About the Role
The Middle School Science Teacher is a pivotal role within our school community, dedicated to supervising students and maintaining a positive learning environment. This position goes beyond standard instruction; it involves adapting teaching strategies to meet the individual learning needs of every student, thereby increasing the probability of advancing their academic achievement. You will be responsible for fostering strong interpersonal relationships with students, parents, peers, and community members to provide the best possible opportunities for student development and growth, both educationally and personally.
In this role, you will collaborate with the principal and fellow teachers to design curriculum and establish annual student achievement targets. You will actively participate in our Professional Learning Community (PLC) and professional development opportunities provided by Pinnacle. Your day-to-day impact will be felt through high-quality instruction, the use of digital curriculum, and the implementation of the PBIS Model to build relationships, respect, and responsibility. You will analyze student data to drive targeted instruction and ensure that at-risk, on-grade-level, and gifted students receive the specific intervention services they need.
