About the Role
As a Middle School Math Teacher, you will serve as a vital guide in shaping the intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth of your students. Your mission is to provide appropriate learning activities that enable students to develop the competencies and skills necessary to function successfully in society. You will foster a classroom environment conducive to learning, supporting the physical and emotional development of every child while acting as a positive role model for the school community.
Day in the Life
Your day involves more than just delivering lessons; it is about connecting with students and the broader school ecosystem. You will collaborate with special education teachers to modify curricula for Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and work with colleagues to determine instructional goals. Beyond the classroom, you may sponsor extracurricular activities, oversee instructional aides, and maintain open communication with parents and community members. You will also participate in faculty meetings and staff development to continuously improve your professional skills.
