As a Custodial Manager for our Mid-Shift (Afternoon & Evenings) team, you will coordinate and supervise all aspects of daily and periodic cleaning within educational complexes. This role is pivotal in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and order that define the HES experience for students, faculty, and staff.
In this position, you will manage a diverse team including supervisors, head custodians, and custodians. Your day involves determining appropriate staffing levels, inspecting assigned areas to ensure work is carried out properly, and preparing work schedules and payroll. You will serve as the primary point of contact for occupants, monitoring cleanliness standards and coordinating setup for events across all campuses. Additionally, you will be responsible for training staff, implementing new procedures, managing supply inventory, and preparing reports on building conditions.
While the core schedule is Monday through Friday, flexibility is essential. You must be prepared to work night shifts and weekends as needed to support operational demands and emergency situations.
