About the Role
We are seeking a Mid-Level Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support the Signals Analysis Division. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the compliance and strengthening the security posture of critical mission systems. You will manage eight to ten System Security Plans, applying Defense-in-Depth principles across network and enterprise architectures while implementing controls using NIST 800-53 and Risk Management Framework procedures.
Your day-to-day will involve performing regular audits, supporting continuous monitoring programs to identify vulnerabilities, and assisting the Information Systems Security Manager with periodic reaccreditation. This position requires a partner who can navigate the nuances of STE/STN requirements and ensure operational security is maintained across assigned systems.
Location and Schedule
This position is based in Annapolis Junction, MD. Candidates must be flexible, as shift times are general hours and some projects may require earlier or later reporting based on specific customer requirements.
