About the Role
As a Mia Italian Express Clerk, you will be the face of our Italian department, responsible for taking orders from customers over the telephone or at the counter. This role exists to ensure a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service to both customers and team members.
Your day will involve a blend of customer interaction and food preparation. You will greet customers warmly, learn their names, and assist them by escorting them to products, securing items, or handling heavy loads. You will answer phones promptly to take orders and manage counter transactions. Beyond service, you will ensure the department runs smoothly by verifying product orders, checking freshness, preparing pizza toppings and dough, pre-baking crusts, and managing inventory in the cold case. You will also operate registers, maintain strict sanitation standards, and keep the work area clean and neat.
