About the Role
The Traveling MEP Manager serves as a key leader within Turner Construction's Healthcare division, overseeing and directing the preconstruction, engineering, and field installation of all Mechanical, Electrical, and Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems. This is a full-time traveling assignment based role that requires travel across the United States to support healthcare projects. Reporting to the Project Manager or Project Executive, this position is critical to ensuring alignment with client goals and expectations from project initiation through completion.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleOversee preconstruction, engineering, and field installation of MEP systems
- check_circleDevelop and maintain relationships with engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers
- check_circleManage MEP procurement, project budgets, quality, safety, and budgets, scheduling, and commissioning processes
- check_circleIdentify design features commanding cost premiums and recommend cost-effective alternatives
- check_circleOversee daily activities of Engineer-MEP, Superintendent-MEP and coordinate with MEP engineers and superintendents
- check_circleLead, supervise and develop Turner MEP staff and appraise MEP staff members
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree
- verifiedMinimum 10 years' experience with design, cost, sequence, logistics and field installations of Mechanical and Electrical systems
- verifiedLEED accreditation preferred
- verifiedStrong oral and written communication skills
- verifiedStrong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
- verifiedKnowledge of project management and scheduling software desirable
