This position serves as a vital entry point for individuals to develop confidence and function independence while performing moderately complex platform banking functions under supervision.
In this role, you will provide basic counseling on available products to meet member needs, assisting them with opening and maintaining deposit accounts, loans, and other financial products. You will process routine transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing, while ensuring cash and negotiable instruments are handled securely. Beyond transactional duties, you will research and resolve basic account discrepancies, identify opportunities to cross-service products, and enhance member relationships through education. Success in this position requires navigating multiple systems efficiently, maintaining composure in a high-production environment, and supporting team members by sharing knowledge as your experience grows.
This position is based at 2290 Coral Sea Street, New Orleans, Louisiana 70114. Hours are available Monday through Saturday, scheduled based on business needs. Please note that based on business requirements, this position may require working at or transferring permanently to neighboring branches within a reasonable commuting distance.
