The Ayer Neuroscience Institute is a rapidly expanding, multidisciplinary center dedicated to comprehensive patient care, academics, teaching, and research. Our Memory Care Program is a multidisciplinary effort focused on the diagnosis and treatment of cognitive disorders. Supported by specialists in neurology, neuropsychiatry, neuropsychology, clinical social work, and advanced practice nursing, the program provides comprehensive evaluations and individualized care for patients and their families. We address medical, psychosocial, and emotional needs through advanced diagnostics—including dementia biomarkers, neurocognitive testing, and amyloid PET imaging—and offer innovative therapies such as anti-amyloid monoclonal antibody treatments.
As the Medical Director, you will provide visionary leadership and oversight for the Memory Care Program, reporting to Dr. Mark Alberts, Co-Physician-in-Chief of the Ayer Neuroscience Institute. This role is designed to champion the seamless delivery of advanced memory care, facilitate the development of standardized practices and clinical pathways, and recruit and supervise faculty and practice personnel. You will collaborate effectively with providers across multiple disciplines to promote a positive, patient-centric atmosphere that ensures optimal care, continued improvement, and staff satisfaction. The position involves leading the Memory Care Clinical Council and developing care protocols that incorporate the latest brain-imaging techniques and disease-modifying therapies.
