VCA Cedar Animal Hospital is a fully equipped facility featuring advanced technology such as electrocautery, ultrasound, digital dental radiography, brand-new anesthesia machines, and monitoring equipment. We are AAHA accredited and follow fear-free practices and hands-free radiology. Our culture is welcoming and collaborative, with a strong focus on teaching and mentorship.

About the Role

As a Medical Director at VCA Cedar Animal Hospital, you will be supported by world-class medicine, advanced technology, modern facilities, and a talented, collaborative team. In this leadership role, you will have the opportunity to guide medical standards, mentor doctors, and partner with hospital leadership while still practicing high-quality medicine.

You will serve as a compassionate leader obsessed with pets and their care, committed to world-class medicine and medical excellence. As a collaborative mentor, you will enjoy teaching, coaching, and developing Associate Veterinarians. You will be a curious, lifelong learner who wants to grow, innovate, and lead a dynamic medical team, building strong relationships with clients, Associates, and hospital leadership.

The hospital primarily handles canine and feline cases, though exotics services can be added for interested DVMs. The schedule is a flexible full-time rotation with preferred hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. As Cedar Animal Hospital plans to open on Saturdays, the ability to work Saturdays is preferred.
