About the Role
Spine Diagnostic is seeking a compassionate and adaptable Medical Assistant to join our team. In this vital role, you will provide essential medical services to patients under the guidance of a physician, serving as a key link between our patients and our medical team.
You will be the first point of contact for our patients, greeting them with professionalism and maintaining strict confidentiality at all times. The ideal candidate is a good listener, outgoing, and an excellent problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Your day will involve examining patients, verifying medical histories, and creating patient-care plans while instructing and guiding patients on their progress.
Beyond clinical duties, you will perform supportive procedures such as immunizations, injections, suturing, and wound care. You will also act as a vital backup to the physician during emergency treatments or complex procedures, displaying professional judgment when consulting on appropriate treatments. Additionally, you will educate patients on diet, family planning, emotional well-being, and health maintenance, ensuring they feel supported throughout their care journey.
