Our client builds technologies that help people connect, find communities, and grow businesses. They are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Media Analyst to join their Communications Measurement team.
This role sits at the heart of the organization's global effort to quantify the impact of communications work across traditional media, social platforms, and owned channels. You will evaluate the impact of communications efforts on the company's most pressing issues, monitoring news cycles to provide both qualitative analyses and quantitative data insights.
In this position, you will play a key role in analyzing the true impact of major news stories about the company. Your findings will feed directly into important strategic decisions made by the global Communications and Public Affairs leadership team. You will help establish strategic KPIs and identify learnings from evaluating media activity for both reactive and proactive initiatives.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and excels at collaborating with colleagues worldwide. While the working language is English, fluency in Spanish is required to effectively analyze regional media cycles and provide local context for domestic and international policy issues. This role offers an ideal basis for a further career in communications teams or within some of the world's largest organizations in the public eye.
Candidates should be strong communicators with a background in journalism, communications, academic research, think tanks, or media agencies. The interview process will focus on assessing your ability to deliver high-quality work under severe time constraints, your attention to detail, and your organizational skills.
Qualified applicants will be considered for assignment regardless of arrest and conviction records, in compliance with the California Fair Chance Act, Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance, Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance, and San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance. Criminal history may be considered only if it has a direct, adverse relationship with specific job duties, such as adhering to company policies, exercising sound judgment, managing stress, and safeguarding business operations.
