Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century's most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built, and sold. Anduril's family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a real-time, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.
At Anduril, we are developing fully autonomous unmanned underwater vehicles that provide unmatched endurance, precision, and mission flexibility to our customers. These vehicles, such as Dive-XL and Copperhead, require Mechanical Engineers with broad experience to develop and analyze technical solutions in a fast-paced environment to enable programmatic success.
The next Mechanical Engineer on our Maritime team will be a key contributor to the full product lifecycle, from designing and prototyping to manufacturing, integrating, testing, and delivering integrated electromechanical systems. You will navigate a dynamic solutions trade space that incorporates external constraints, evolving requirements, timeline considerations, and quality in a multi-stakeholder environment. As a member of a multi-disciplinary integrated product team, you will provide a new perspective to teammates of various backgrounds and experiences.
Your work will involve critically assessing mechanical solutions for their value to the end user, cost, ease of manufacture, time to deliver, reliability, reusability across various product lines, and iterability. You will interact directly with end-users to deeply understand their needs and incorporate feedback into your technical solutions. This role may require travel to co-locate with end users, visit vendors, or support integration and test activities at test sites.
Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance. By submitting your application, you consent to Anduril Industries using a third-party service provider to conduct pre-employment risk, integrity, and due diligence screening as part of the application process. This screening helps ensure compliance with applicable laws and protects technology, intellectual property, and organizational security.
Anduril is committed to maintaining the integrity of our Talent acquisition process and the security of our candidates. We have observed a rise in sophisticated phishing and fraudulent schemes where individuals impersonate Anduril representatives. To ensure your safety:
Anduril is an equal opportunity employer. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background.
