The Energy Mechanical team at Pond delivers work across a variety of markets, including oil & gas, power delivery, renewables, and utilities. While the team primarily supports DoD and commercial aviation fueling projects, it also serves diverse sectors requiring complex mechanical infrastructure.
This position is designed for a Mechanical Engineer IV ready to take on increased responsibility in project execution, coordination, and technical leadership. You will play a key technical role leading design efforts, guiding junior engineers, and serving as a subject-matter resource on complex mechanical and fueling systems. The ideal candidate will thrive in an environment that requires engaging with clients and stakeholders while delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

Extensive experience with fueling system design for DoD facilities, military airfields, or commercial aviation terminals. Strong background in piping systems, storage tanks, hydrant fueling, and related mechanical infrastructure. Experience performing or overseeing hydraulic analysis, system simulation, stress analysis, and equipment sizing. Ability to interpret and develop technical specifications, lead QA/QC reviews, and mentor junior staff.
