About the Role
In this position, you will perform general production work as assigned and help maintain and operate the department. You will be responsible for responding to customer needs, keeping department temperature logs accurately updated, and training associates on temperature recording procedures. Your role involves ensuring the work area, carts, tools, and supplies remain clean, organized, and safe, while operating light power equipment as needed.
You will be expected to be personable, neat, and cheerful, making a friendly impression on customers and fellow associates. Success in this role requires the ability to work safely with various chemically based cleaning solutions and sharp tools, while tactfully and calmly handling stressful situations in a fast-paced environment. You will adhere to all current rules and duties of the Meat Department, as well as Company, State, and Federal laws.
