The Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Division serves as the regional perinatal center for the Upstate of SC. As an affiliate site of the MFMU Network through UNC-Chapel Hill, the division maintains a strong academic mission. Faculty members are actively involved in teaching medical students from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville, training OB/GYN residents within the Prisma Health OBGYN Residency Program, and supervising a large interdisciplinary team of midwives, nurse practitioners, fellows, and residents while caring for an underserved population.
The division embraces a scholarly, evidence-based approach to care, offering robust research opportunities across clinical, educational, and outcomes-based domains. It also leads an ACGME-accredited MFM Fellowship Program, accepting one fellow per year across the three-year program.
About the Role
We are seeking a full-time board certified or board eligible Maternal Fetal Medicine physician to join an established division of 12 MFM physicians. This role is designed for a candidate committed to academic medicine, with a strong interest in teaching, mentorship, and engagement in post-graduate medical education. The position offers a home call model with call shared equally among the group, and provides opportunities to earn additional compensation by taking in-house call to supervise residents.
