Climate Pledge Arena, located at Seattle Center, is the complete redevelopment of a historic landmark originally built for the 1962 Seattle World's Fair. Home to the NHL's Seattle Kraken, WNBA's Seattle Storm, PWHL Seattle, and the world's biggest performers of live music and events, the arena is named after The Climate Pledge, an initiative founded by Amazon and Global Optimism asking global corporations to become net zero carbon by 2040. As the world's first Zero Carbon Certified arena, Climate Pledge Arena features one of the most progressive sustainability programs of any building its size. The arena opened on October 19, 2021.
The Marketing Assistant is a key support role within Climate Pledge Arena, reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager. This position is the operational engine behind our digital communications, responsible for executing the deployment of emails via Eloqua, building segments and campaigns, programming sends, and providing analytics on campaign performance to various departments.
Beyond email, you will serve as a guardian of our digital presence, monitoring and editing content accuracy on the Climate Pledge Arena website using WordPress while offering design suggestions. The role also involves assisting with social media content coverage and capturing moments at events. You will collaborate with premium sales teams to manage contact information and assist in building email content for private events, tours, group sales, and partnerships. Additionally, you will support the marketing team in ideating projects across websites, emails, and social channels, while assisting with video production and graphic design needs.
