Venture Dynamics is seeking skilled Marine Electricians to join our team in supporting the Seattle, WA Vigor shipyard. This role is designed for proactive and detail-oriented professionals dedicated to ensuring excellence in every aspect of marine electrical work. You will be responsible for repairing, installing, replacing, and testing electrical circuits and systems aboard vessels and within shipyard facilities, adhering to strict standards such as IEEE45 rules for AC and DC installations.
This is a dynamic opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects in the shipyard industry. The position involves a diverse range of shifts, including 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour schedules, running Monday through Friday with overtime and weekends as requested by the client. The role is physically active, requiring extensive standing, walking, climbing, and working on scaffolding or ladders. You will apply your expertise where it is needed most, participating in system upgrades, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting complex electrical controls.
This is a contract position starting July 6th with a duration of 6-12+ months. Compensation is $30.00 - $34.00/hour (DOE) with weekly pay, plus a $178 per diem per day for travelers.
