The MAPS Liaison serves as the vital link between Wellstar facilities and contracted ambulance providers, ensuring seamless coordination for both emergent and non-emergent patient transportation. This role is designed to maintain service efficiency, data integrity, and the highest levels of patient satisfaction within a fast-paced healthcare environment.\n Working onsite at the Wellstar Transfer Center, the Liaison operates within a shift-based schedule, collaborating closely with Care Coordination, vendors, and internal teams. The position requires a dedicated professional who can manage the flow of transport requests, monitor ETAs in real-time, and escalate issues to alternative network providers when primary vendors are unavailable. Success in this role hinges on the ability to balance rapid decision-making with meticulous documentation and strict adherence to HIPAA and company confidentiality standards.
