The Manufacturing Technology Analyst 4 serves as a strategic leader within the software development lifecycle, specifically focused on non-embedded software systems. This role is designed to bridge the gap between complex customer requirements and robust, compliant software solutions. You will drive the end-to-end design, development, testing, and maintenance of software products that must adhere to rigorous industry, safety, and regulatory standards.
In this position, you will not only manage the technical architecture and algorithms but also lead the translation of high-level customer needs into initial product designs. The role requires a deep understanding of the interactions between hardware, software, and system safety, ensuring that every component integrates seamlessly within larger systems. You will act as a consultant on software domains and system-specific issues, guiding the team through the implementation of emerging technologies and regulatory changes.
A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to process improvement and supplier management. You will establish and monitor key performance metrics to align projects with organizational goals, while also evaluating software team and supplier performance to ensure compliance with project plans and industry benchmarks. This position offers the opportunity to lead research and development projects that shape the future of software capabilities in critical environments, including aerospace and defense systems.
Candidates selected for this 12+ month contract will engage in a structured evaluation process designed to assess technical depth and cultural fit. The process typically includes an initial screening to verify qualifications, followed by a technical deep-dive into software architecture and development methodologies. Final stages involve a review of system design capabilities and a team fit interview to ensure alignment with our collaborative environment.
