About the Role
The Manufacturing Specialist acts as the primary production process owner and subject matter expert (SME) for the manufacturer of final products at Birmingham Labs, PDS Services. This role provides manufacturing technical leadership for assigned areas at the Birmingham site, including PDS Services, PDS Products, and Medical Devices (MDS).
As the unit operation and process owner, you will ensure production processes meet a broad range of customer needs while maintaining high standards in GMP compliance, EHS, and quality. You will drive operational readiness, manage SOPs, ensure equipment reliability, support customer service, contribute to CAPEX strategy, and troubleshoot complex issues. The position also involves short-term growth of staff working in the assigned area, ensuring technical knowledge, proficiency, and compliance are embedded in training, materials, and job aids.

Requirements
