The Engineering Rapid Build Services (ERBS) department is seeking a Manufacturing Planner II to manage and lead the acquisition and manufacturing of Test Equipment. This role is critical for resolving test equipment and prototype manufacturing issues by leveraging deep knowledge of engineering design, needs, and final intended applications.
In this position, you will act as a bridge between engineering requirements and manufacturing execution. You will generate and monitor the progression of multiple requisitions through the procurement cycle, facilitate the resolution of procurement issues, and ensure items are delivered to meet customer schedules. You will utilize the Engineering Manufacturing Management System (EMMS) to generate work orders, build and maintain indentured build of materials (IBOMS), and provide material and work order status updates to customers.
This is an onsite position based in Tucson, Arizona. Previous experience working with test equipment or prototype engineering hardware. Experience maintaining configuration control of products and drawings. Experience interfacing directly with customers in an engineering/manufacturing environment. Experience with the design, use, and fabrication of electrical instrumentation. Experience dealing with supply chain and material obsolescence issues.
