As the Managing Director of Operations, you will strategically plan, organize, direct, and control critical activities within Smithfield's World Class Manufacturing Operations. Your mission is to ensure seamless and efficient processes that deliver Good Food, Responsibly™. You will take charge of designated manufacturing operations, overseeing multiple facilities and guiding department heads to create goals, implement standards, and evaluate team achievements against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
In this role, you will drive business objectives in safety, cost, quality, customer service, and production efficiencies. You will provide the strategic vision and roadmap to ensure continued achievement of goals and business success, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. By leading initiatives to maximize employee contribution and driving accountability through accurate reporting, you will elevate operational standards and achieve exceptional results. You will also drive a positive employee experience through leadership, development, and coaching.
