The Trauma Program Manager serves as the champion for excellence in trauma care and program performance. This role is accountable for coordinating the entire Trauma Service, including planning, development, education, injury prevention, research, registry management, performance improvement, and patient safety programs. You will manage daily operations and supervise the trauma service staff, ensuring full compliance with Missouri state guidelines and American College of Surgeons regulations.
As a central liaison, you will collaborate with specialty care departments, patient care units, administration, referral facilities, physician practices, and EMS agencies to oversee all aspects of injured patient care from pre-hospitalization through rehabilitation. This position requires flexibility to adapt to the dynamic needs of a high-acuity environment, typically operating Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
