About the Role
The Engineering Dispatch Manager serves as the operational heartbeat of the Engineering Department at Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort. In this pivotal position, you will oversee the daily coordination of maintenance requests, work orders, and preventive scheduling across our diverse portfolio, including hotels, residential areas, the club, and recreational facilities. Your primary mission is to ensure seamless communication between the Engineering team, guest services, and all other resort departments, guaranteeing that service calls are answered promptly and tasks are assigned with precision.
This role is designed for a leader who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment. You will be the bridge between urgent guest needs and technical execution, ensuring that every maintenance issue is handled efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of customer service. From managing inventory and vendor relationships to supporting capital projects and refining departmental workflows, you will play a key part in upholding the operational excellence that defines the Sandestin experience.

Key Responsibilities

- check_circleReview dispatch logs, labor reports, and maintenance tracking systems for accuracy
- check_circleMaintain inventory coordination for parts requests, vendor service scheduling, and contractor access
- check_circleAssist with departmental budgeting support, invoice processing, and payroll administration
- check_circlePrepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports for Engineering leadership
- check_circleEnsure compliance with OSHA standards, safety policies, and emergency protocols
- check_circleSupport capital project coordination and engineering administrative functions
- check_circleAssist in developing departmental SOPs and improving workflow efficiency
- check_circleTrain team members on dispatch procedures, systems, and service standards
- check_circleMonitor completion of preventive maintenance schedules and ensure timely work order closure
Requirements
- verifiedMinimum 3–5 years of experience in engineering operations, facilities management, hotel maintenance dispatch, or related field
