As a Manager of Respiratory Therapy, you will join a team of daring managers who care without reservations or limits. You will be responsible for departmental operational excellence, ensuring the delivery of quality patient care services in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, and professional standards. In the director's absence, you will assume responsibility for departmental operations.
This role requires expertise across all areas, including adult, pediatric, neonatal, and diagnostic testing. You will ensure productivity meets daily standards by staffing the correct number of employees for the volume of procedures and securing necessary equipment and supplies. Your day-to-day responsibilities include creating monthly schedules, assisting with Kronos and Lawson documentation, participating in hiring, creating annual budgets, and providing coaching and corrective actions.
