About the Role
SAAB is seeking a Manager, Manufacturing to lead our Manufacturing & Production operations within the Defense & Aerospace sector. In this pivotal role, you will oversee day-to-day shop-floor activities, driving operational excellence to ensure the on-time, high-quality delivery of complex defense systems. You will serve as a key partner to Engineering and Quality teams, facilitating new product introductions and guiding the transition from prototype to full-rate production.
This position exists to foster a highly innovative and collaborative environment where safety and continuous improvement are paramount. You will be responsible for coaching and developing production teams, manufacturing engineers, and technicians while managing budgets and resources. Your leadership will directly impact throughput and efficiency through the implementation of lean manufacturing initiatives and rigorous adherence to defense industry standards.

Requirements
