About the Role
This position is responsible for managing and implementing a strategic, measurable internal communications program that supports and advances the Memorial Hermann strategies, mission, vision and values. The role serves internal audiences including employees, physicians, volunteers, and board members.
Note: This is a 2-year temporary position.
In this role, you will design and execute comprehensive internal communications plans, working collaboratively with Communications, corporate, and hospital leaders to achieve strategic objectives. You will set and maintain graphic and editorial standards, ensuring quality and consistency across all internal deliverables such as memos, talking points, video scripts, and presentations. Beyond content creation, you will foster teamwork and cooperation among staff and other divisions, while recruiting, hiring, training, and mentoring your team.
You will also play a key role in preparing the annual budget and monitoring expenses to ensure cost-effective operations. A core part of your day will involve modeling Memorial Hermann's service standards by creating compassionate and personalized experiences for patients and the workforce, while ensuring adherence to all safety policies and procedures.
