About the Role
The Manager, Identity and Access Management (IAM) serves as a critical guardian of our digital infrastructure. In this role, you will provide technical leadership and administrative oversight to ensure secure, efficient, and compliant identity lifecycle management across the enterprise. You will lead the IAM team, directing system configuration and integration activities while supporting identity governance.
Your day-to-day involves partnering with Cybersecurity, IT, HRIS, and business leaders to maintain strong identity security practices that support both clinical and business operations. You will be responsible for designing and implementing IAM processes that enhance efficiency, reduce risk, and strengthen our overall security posture in a fast-paced, highly regulated healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

- check_circleEnsure effective authentication and authorization controls to support secure operations
- check_circlePartner with Cybersecurity, IT, HRIS, and business leaders to maintain identity security practices
- check_circleDesign and implement IAM processes, standards, and automation to enhance efficiency and reduce risk
- check_circleOversee IT project activities including planning, execution, and monitoring
- check_circleCreate and maintain detailed documentation for processes, procedures, and troubleshooting guides
Requirements
- verifiedHigh school diploma or equivalent
- verifiedBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field preferred
- verifiedMinimum 4 years progressively responsible experience in Identity & Access Management, IT Security, or Enterprise Systems Administration
- verifiedMinimum 1 year in a leadership, supervisory, or technical team lead role
- verifiedExperience with identity governance tools, Active Directory / Entra ID, SSO/MFA technologies, and privileged access management
- verifiedMicrosoft SC-300 or SC-100 certification required (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire)
- verifiedOne or more of the following certifications required: CompTIA Security+, CySA+, CASP+, CCNA, CISSP, CISM, CISA, Microsoft cybersecurity or identity certification, any GIAC certification, or other recognized Information Security certification
- verifiedKnowledge of regulatory and security frameworks applicable to healthcare, including HIPAA, HITRUST, NIST, Zero Trust
Nice to Have
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field; equivalent experience considered. Experience in healthcare or other highly regulated environments. Additional industry recognized certifications (GIAC, CompTIA, Microsoft, ISACA, INE, ISC², etc.).
