Based in Northbrook, Illinois, the firm employs more than 850 professionals across four continents. Hilco delivers integrated professional services and capital solutions to healthy, stressed, and distressed companies across retail, commercial, industrial, real estate, manufacturing, brand, and intellectual property sectors.
What differentiates Hilco is the strength and breadth of its platform. The firm is trusted in high-stakes, complex, and often time-sensitive situations where financial, operational, strategic, and legal issues intersect. Hilco brings together deep experience, commercial judgment, and execution capability across the business lifecycle.
Hilco Global is actively expanding its Global Investigations & Dispute Resolution practice. This is not a standalone niche being built in isolation; it is being developed within a powerful platform that already possesses deep client relationships, strong market credibility, and meaningful adjacency to restructuring, valuation, capital solutions, and other advisory capabilities.
The practice advises clients on matters involving fraud and misconduct investigations, forensic accounting, post-acquisition disputes, bribery and corruption, asset tracing, investigative due diligence, litigation support, regulatory response, digital forensics, cyber-enabled investigations, and e-discovery. For the right professionals, this creates a rare opportunity to build within an established platform that already matters in the market.
Joining Hilco's Global Investigations & Dispute Resolution practice means joining at a time of strong momentum. The practice is being actively built and expanded, offering a differentiated proposition for ambitious, commercial professionals:
As a Manager in the Global Investigations & Dispute Resolution practice, you will lead the day-to-day execution of digital forensics and cyber-enabled investigations workstreams. This role focuses on digital evidence analysis, cyber-enabled misconduct, user-activity reconstruction, data misuse, and insider-risk issues, distinguishing it from traditional e-discovery review management.
You will partner with clients and counsel to identify, preserve, collect, analyze, and explain digital evidence in matters involving fraud, employee misconduct, data theft, unauthorized access, off-channel communications, business email compromise, and regulatory responses. Managers are expected to combine strong technical capability with project management, communication, and team leadership. This position is particularly attractive for professionals who want to help build a growing digital evidence and cyber investigations capability inside a broader investigations and disputes platform.
Qualified candidates will be considered on their merits. The selection process typically involves reviewing applications for relevant experience in digital forensics, cyber investigations, and forensic technology, followed by interviews to assess technical proficiency, judgment, and cultural fit within the expanding practice.
Hilco Global is an equal opportunity employer. Qualified candidates will be considered without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, sexual orientation, genetic information, marital status, gender, veteran status, or disability status. Hilco Global strives to comply with all applicable local and state regulations regarding salary transparency and is proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support employees' mental, physical, and financial well-being.
