Hilco Global, a subsidiary of ORIX Corporation USA, is a diversified financial services company with a long-standing reputation for helping clients maximize value, solve complex problems, and navigate critical business moments. Based in Northbrook, Illinois, the firm employs more than 850 professionals operating on four continents. Hilco delivers integrated professional services and capital solutions across the retail, commercial, industrial, real estate, manufacturing, brand, and intellectual property sectors.
What differentiates Hilco is the strength and breadth of its platform. The firm is trusted in high-stakes, complex, and often time-sensitive situations where financial, operational, strategic, and legal issues intersect. Hilco brings together deep experience, commercial judgment, and execution capability across the business lifecycle—from healthy companies seeking growth to stressed and distressed situations requiring decisive action.
Hilco Global is expanding its Global Investigations & Dispute Resolution practice, a growing capability that advises clients on matters involving fraud, misconduct, forensic accounting, commercial disputes, bribery, asset tracing, and cyber-enabled investigations. This is not a standalone niche practice being built in isolation; it is being developed within a powerful platform that already possesses deep client relationships, strong market credibility, and meaningful adjacency to restructuring, valuation, capital solutions, and other advisory capabilities.
As an Associate Director in this practice, you will oversee complex digital forensics and cyber-enabled investigations, manage multiple technical workstreams, and serve as a key leader in both execution and practice development. This role is focused on digital evidence, cyber-enabled fact development, user and system activity reconstruction, and investigative findings that help clients and counsel understand what happened, who was involved, and how digital systems were used.
This is an especially strong opportunity for professionals who want more than a technical delivery role. It is a chance to join a platform where you can help shape the direction of a growing, market-facing digital forensics and cyber investigations capability. You will join at a time of strong momentum, with the benefit of Hilco's broader brand and relationships across capital solutions, restructuring, and special situations.
For professionals who are ambitious, commercial, and excited by the idea of helping shape a market-facing practice, Hilco offers a differentiated proposition:
At Hilco, professionals are not joining a static organization. They are joining a platform with real market strength and the ambition to build a premier practice.
Hilco Global is an equal opportunity employer. Qualified candidates will be considered on merits and without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, sexual orientation, genetic information, marital status, gender, veteran, or disability status. Hilco Global strives to comply with all applicable local/state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges and is proud to offer a comprehensive, competitive benefits package designed to support your mental health and lifestyle.
