About the Role
This position is pivotal in building, growing, and protecting Mayo Clinic's reputation, shaping the external environment, and nurturing the culture to achieve the organization's mission. The role focuses on promoting the department's transformative research initiatives, enhancing internal and external communication, and fostering collaboration among clinicians, scientists, and external partners.
As a manager, you will understand Mayo Clinic business objectives and lead the development of strategies to support them. You will partner with department leaders to execute operational goals, prioritize work, and ensure effective operations. This role involves developing and maintaining relationships with executive leadership, staff, government officials, and media to advance organizational awareness. You will manage staff and programs, leveraging functional expertise to serve enterprise and site leadership needs through participation on committees and task forces.
