About the Role
This position serves as a vital link in our mammography department, where you will provide essential imaging services and stereo procedures. You will be responsible for operating specialized equipment to perform mammography-related procedures, preparing and positioning patients with care, and selecting the appropriate technical parameters for each exam. Beyond the technical aspects, you will play a key role in patient education, explaining the importance of regular mammography in preventive breast health.
Your day will involve developing and evaluating images for technical quality, ensuring density, contrast, and definition meet rigorous standards. You will work in a constant state of alertness to maintain safety, follow strict radiation safety guidelines, and ensure all high-quality images and documentation are promptly submitted to the PACS system. Additionally, you will assist in maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe environment within the procedure rooms, storage areas, and dressing rooms.
