This position is based at the Rapid City Hospital in Rapid City, SD, within the Flormann St. MIS General department. The role serves patients of all ages, performing mammographic examinations that require significant judgment, ingenuity, and initiative in applying ionizing radiation to obtain diagnostic radiographs.
The Radiologic Technologist is expected to promote a cooperative and professional atmosphere with a strong emphasis on patient care. Beyond technical execution, the role involves assisting physicians in procedures, documenting patient information accurately, and ensuring correct billing for procedures and supplies. The position also includes participating in quality control programs, monitoring results, and making recommendations for improvements to maintain high diagnostic standards.
