As a Maintenance Technician, you will be a vital part of our team, ensuring the smooth operation of our properties. Whether you are working independently on projects or alongside other team members, your work will make a difference. This role is designed for someone who is customer service-minded and eager to utilize all their skills to support our residents and properties.
You will handle a variety of tasks including routine resident service requests, preventative maintenance, emergency maintenance, capital improvements, and seasonal maintenance. A key part of your day will involve performing repairs to building systems and apartments, requiring knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems, appliances, painting, drywall, HVAC, fire and security systems, and elevators. You will also be responsible for tool and equipment maintenance.
This position requires a flexible schedule, including the ability to be on-call for evening and weekend emergencies. Reliable transportation is essential, as is the ability to perform snow removal when necessary. You will interact daily with residents, vendors, and office staff, requiring excellent interpersonal and communication skills to ensure a positive experience for everyone.
