About the Role

We are seeking an articulate and personable Regional Field Service Mechanic to join our team in San Jose, CA. In this role, you will serve as the primary technical resource for our high-volume bakery automated handling, packaging, and processing equipment. You will visit customer sites to diagnose, repair, maintain, and rebuild complex machinery, ensuring minimal downtime for our clients.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include installing, setting up, and calibrating new machinery, as well as training operators and floor technicians on proper usage. Beyond technical maintenance, you will have the opportunity to engage with customers to create and sell value-added services, such as preventative maintenance programs. This position requires a blend of mechanical and electrical expertise, with a focus on intricate hydraulic or pneumatic systems, PLC programming, and the interpretation of schematics and drawings.
